VENTILATION

• Front air intake with on/off switch to control the helmet’s ventilation.

AERODYNAMICS

• The shell’s special shape allows air to flow along the entire exterior surface without generating vortices or turbulence, making the helmet (and therefore the final user) more stable and secure.
• Thanks to wind tunnel studies and the new mechanism designed by SUOMY, the helmet has a very low aerodynamic impact, both frontally
and when completely open. This makes the D2O much more stable than other flip-up helmets since aerodynamic interference is decreased
consequently eliminating the creation of minor turbulences known as the “sail effect” in aeronautics.

SCS BLUETOOTH

• Suomy Communication Sytem 
The new SCS product (Suomy Communication System) offers important new features for the market of Bluetooth inter-com systems for helmets. In addition to the typical functions that enable connection with a mobile phone (to speak in safety and listen to mp3 files in hi-fi
stereo) and communication with the passenger, SCS also has an integrated FM radio and Bluetooth class 1 system in version 2.1. The excellent quality of the FM radio does not require further descriptions and thanks to the new Bluetooth sub-system it is possible to speak at a distance of even 200m (according to the conditions of the road) with the other travellers and much more. For example, during journeys it is possible to
set the SCS to the “search friend” modality and when two SCS meet they exchange a vocal introduction file thus activating connection with
other people travelling along the same road.

Furthermore, the SCS can be easily configured thanks to the supplied PC software. It is possible to create a list of favourite radio stations, set
“helmet friends” to communicate with and other more general configurations.

Operation:
The "Start Communication System" kit (K1) provides the assembly base required for the operation and use of the "Bluetooth Communication
System" kit (K2). For installation carefully follow the instructions contained in the booklet inside the box.

- Single helmet:
when purchasing just one D2O it is mandatory to purchase kit K1 and kit K2. It is therefore possible to exploit all the functionalities of the SCS system (for the explanation of the K2 kit see relating sheet).

- Two D2O helmets:
when purchasing no. 2 D2O helmets, we have two choices.
The first and easiest is to install kit 1 and kit 2 on both helmets, thus exploiting all the functionalities of the SCS system on the single helmets and especially the connection between the two helmets. Otherwise, one helmet can be fitted with kit 1 and kit 2; the second helmet can be fitted with kit 1 and kit 3 (for explanation of kit K3 see relating sheet). The first helmet will exploit all the functionalities of the SCS system whereas the second helmet will be powered by the first and will have limited functionalities. We recommend referring to the installation booklet
inside the box.

Operation:

The "Bluetooth Communication System" kit (K2) provides the final upgrade for the installation of the Suomy SCS System. For installation
carefully follow the instructions contained in the booklet inside the box.

- Single helmet:

when purchasing just one D2O it is mandatory to purchase kit K1 and kit K2. It is therefore possible to exploit all the functionalities of the SCS system which means connecting your mobile phone or mp3 to the helmet; this will allow you to listen to your favouritemusic or answer
your mobile phone while riding your motorcycle (ALWAYS remember to comply with the laws in force on road safety in the country of sale). It is also possible to connect your helmet through Bluetooth to the passenger’s helmet fitted with another kit K2 or connect it using the supplied wire with the kit K3 (this option foresees the installation of kit K1 as explained previously). For more thorough explanation refer to the user
and maintenance manual supplied with the kit.

Operation:
The "Cable Communication System" kit (K3) can be used to connect a helmet fitted with kit K1+ kit K2 and a helmet fitted with only Kit K1
